We had almost the same discussion last year. My parents wanted me to deliver at their home in Kolkata, and my partner's work would only allow a week off at a stretch. We ended up delivering in Pune and my mother came to us for two months instead. It wasn't what anyone first wanted, but both of us were there for the first weeks. Could your partner's mother come to Hyderabad instead?

Our daughter is five months, and our caregiver has said almost the same thing about sleep. She never complains, so I only notice she's tired when the evening handover gets quiet. I don't have a fix yet. Watching this thread.
