Weighing Delhi Public School, Secunderabad for class 4 or 5 if we rent closer to that side

We are considering renting somewhere around Bowenpally or Trimulgherry from next year, mainly to cut my partner's commute. Our daughter is finishing class 3 in Chandanagar. If we move, she would join a new school for class 4 or 5, and Delhi Public School, Secunderabad is one of the schools we would look at. I work in school administration myself, so I know a brochure and a visit only tell you so much. What I would like from current or former parents is the ordinary picture: how long the school day is for the primary classes, how much homework comes home, and how children who join in the middle years settle in with classmates who have been together since LKG. The trade-off is that my own commute would become much longer. So this depends on the school being a clearly good fit for her, not just a convenient one.
