Watching the little ones walk into The King's High School every morning. When did yours start pre-nursery?

The King's High School is a few minutes down our road, and on the daycare walk every morning we pass the pre-nursery children going in with their parents. Some of them look barely older than our daughter, who isn't one yet. Curious more than planning. At what age did yours start pre-nursery, and did they go straight from daycare to school? My partner says I'm about a year and a half early with this question.

Our younger one started pre-nursery at about two and a half, straight from daycare. The first month was harder than daycare had been, because the day had more structure and no proper nap. I can't speak for King's specifically.

The nap part I hadn't thought about at all. Did you keep daycare for the afternoons that year?

Not the person you asked, but we did that with my son. Pre-nursery till noon, then the daycare van picked him up from school. It worked only because the daycare already did pickups from his school, so check that first.

we kept daycare afternoons for the little one this year. she naps there, refuses at home. so the fee is buying a nap, basically
