Two questions about class 1 joiners at Raghunatha Model High School, posted for our nanny

Our nanny lives near Dilsukhnagar and her daughter has just finished UKG at a small play school there. She asked me to post because she felt shy asking these at the office counter. First, is there any test or interaction for class 1 joiners, or is it just the forms? Second, roughly when do the younger classes finish in the afternoon? She leaves early to come to us, and her mother does the pickup. If anyone has a child there or has been through admission recently, even a general idea would help her plan.

    I do not know this school. When my son admitted my elder grandchild to class 1 last year in Secunderabad, they asked for birth certificate, Aadhaar of child and parents, the UKG report and four photos. Tell her to keep two sets of photocopies ready. For the timing, it is better she asks in person when she goes with the papers.

    We haven't reached class 1 yet, but at the two CBSE schools near Rajendranagar where I asked, class 1 joiners only had a short chat and read a few words. Nothing to prepare for. That may not hold for this school, so she should ask. One thing worth checking: whether they need the transfer certificate from the play school before they confirm the seat. Small play schools sometimes take a few weeks to issue it.
