Toddler peeled her own banana, then refused it because it was broken

lagoon_wave_2896

My 2 year old insisted on peeling her banana herself this morning. Four minutes, tongue out, total concentration. She got it done, snapped the top off in the process, and burst into tears because the banana was 'broken' and she needed a new one. The new one also had to be peeled by her. It also broke. We are now on banana three ❤️

Our son had the broken biscuit phase at that age. Any biscuit with a crack was rejected. We started snapping them in half before he saw them, and he accepted that this is how biscuits are made. Not sure how you'd pull that off with a banana.
