Please don't do the lap, even for ten minutes. I work in emergency, and a sudden brake is all it takes. I know you know, and I know how hard the screaming is when you're alone and late. What helped us: one toy that lives only in the car, a song we sing only while buckling, and parking in the shade or cooling the car first so the buckles aren't hot. It didn't work overnight, but the screaming got shorter every week ❤️
the hot buckle thing, never thought of that. our car is parked outside all day. will try the car-only toy too
