Thinking ahead to nursery at Sri Nalanda Grammar High School in Kapra

lagoon_sketch_255

We may move to the Kapra side next year, closer to my partner's office, so I've started looking at schools near the colonies we're considering. Sri Nalanda Grammar High School in Nagarjuna Nagar colony keeps coming up. Our daughter is only 1, so nursery is a year or more away, but I'd rather know early. What I'd like to know is simple: how long the nursery day is, whether there's school transport within the colony area, and how settling in works for children coming from a small daycare. Anything from families who've visited or have children there would be good.

AS Rao Nagar here, so not far. My son is 21, the nursery years are long gone, and I don't know this school's setup. Have you called the office? Timings and transport they should answer directly.

dont know this one specifically. we did nursery visits for our daughter, she's 5 now, and these were the questions that helped: how the first two weeks work, can a parent stay for a while or is it straight drop-off what happens if a child cries the whole morning, do they call you or wait it out whether the nursery has its own entry and dispersal or mixes with the big kids transport you'll have to check with the office, routes change year to year

This is a good list, thanks. The crying one especially. She's at a small daycare with four other babies, and a big school is a different thing, so that's the worry. Saving it.

Also, up with the little one at this hour, so sorry if that reads half-asleep. If anyone does know whether nursery there is half day, that's the first thing I'd like to find out.
