Our daughter is coming up to three months. I'm still boiling bottles, the pacifier, the teether nobody uses, and twice this week a rattle that touched the floor. My partner, who is a doctor and should know, says bottles yes, the rest is overkill now. My mother says boil everything till she's one. Somewhere in between is probably right. I just don't know where.
Ha, the rattle. We dropped everything except bottles somewhere around 5 months, mostly because she started putting her own feet, the floor mat and my phone in her mouth anyway. Still boil the bottles. Our paediatrician said much the same as your partner, for what it's worth.
the feet and phone stage settles it for you. with mine we were very strict about bottles, then at 9 months she ate a fistful of sand at the park and was completely fine. bottles yes, relax about the rest, is what i'd do again
