Son's olympiad centre is Sri Vidya Secondary School in Amberpet, on my on-call Sunday

My elder son's maths olympiad paper has been allotted to Sri Vidya Secondary School in Amberpet, on a Sunday morning. It falls in my on-call week, so for the two hours he is inside I need a laptop, a charger and a working connection, in case something breaks at work. For anyone who has dropped a child at an exam there, or lives nearby: do parents usually wait outside the gate, and is there a quiet place within walking distance where I could sit and work? Coming from Rajendranagar, I would also like to know how early is sensible on a Sunday.
