She watched me put in eye drops twice. Now she tilts her head back for every small bottle

My 1 year old has seen me use eye drops at night maybe twice. Now any small bottle in the house, the vanilla essence, a nail polish, an empty sample vial, she grabs it, tips her head right back and blinks very hard at the ceiling. Then she hands it over so I can have a turn 🤷 I examine eyes all day. Apparently the patient at home is ready.

Better than mine. He's decided the thermometer goes in his ear and nowhere else. Then he checks mine.

Mine's still a baby, and he puts my phone charger in his mouth and then holds the other end out to me, as if he's plugging me in.

Wait till she's 5. Our son set up a clinic for his grandmother last week and gave her 'drops' from an empty bottle every ten minutes. She was very patient about it 🙂

ent here. mine used to put the otoscope tip on her finger and look in everyone's ears. she's 12 now and won't let me anywhere near hers. enjoy the cooperative patient phase

My granddaughter did this with my reading glasses at that age. She would put them on, hold a book upside down and sigh exactly the way I do. It is a little unsettling to be copied so accurately.
