Asking for my sister. They're moving to Hayathnagar after Diwali and her son goes into class 7 next year. Sri Chaitanya CBSE is the school most families in her new colony seem to use. Two things she wants to hear from parents there: how long is the school day for the middle classes, and are Saturdays regular school or test days? I'm in Bachupally, so no help to her on that side.
Not this branch, and not first-hand. A couple of my elder son's friends moved to schools with a heavy foundation focus in class 7, and their days got long, with tests on Saturdays. Worth your sister asking her son how he feels about that kind of week before the school decides it for them 💛

Bit of both. The colony picked it first, she's catching up. She's visiting two more on Saturday, will tell her to ask about the day length at all three.
