Our household calendar contains seventeen imaginary events

I put possible plans into the family calendar as reminders, and now every weekend looks fully booked. The child has started declining invitations because of events I never confirmed. I'm going to give tentative plans a different home before our calendar becomes a work of fiction.

We mark tentative items clearly, but honestly a second list is cleaner.

Use a separate note for ideas and keep the shared calendar for commitments.
