Our child has started sending handwritten appointment reminders

I mentioned a dentist appointment next month. My child made a little card to remind us, then produced three more cards for unrelated errands. It's sweet, but the fridge now looks like a reception desk. How do you encourage the initiative without delegating family scheduling to a child?
