Office wants us in three days a week from June, and preschool ends at 12.30

Company has announced three fixed office days from June. The office is 40 minutes away on a good day, and the boy's preschool finishes at 12.30. Till now we've managed with me taking calls from home in the afternoons and his aai doing the mornings around her shop. Three office days means three afternoons with nobody near Koramangala till 6. Options as I see them: the daycare attached to the preschool (he's never stayed past lunch there), a nanny for afternoons only, or asking my manager for fixed days so aai can move one shop day around. How have others done the half-day preschool plus office days maths? Not looking forward to raising this in my one-on-one :)
