regional client meetings again since the summer. new team, new office, and it just never came up. for one full day a week i'm only the delivery person, not someone's mother checking her phone at lunch. feels a bit odd to enjoy that. he's with family at home and fine. i still look at his photos in the lift.

I understand the appeal. The practical question is what happens when you need to leave early or can't travel one week. How do you handle the 'why' at that point, or has it not come up yet?

same. i just say 'hard stop at 6' and leave. nobody has asked so far

  Hard stop works until someone books a 6 pm review 🙂 After about a year I just told people. Made life simpler, but I get why you'd hold on to it for a while.
