My sister's 2 year old wants a star on every scribble she brings me, not a tick

Sister came for Bonalu with her small daughter and is staying one week. The little one sees my son doing homework and me checking it, so now she also does 'homework'. Pencil lines all over a page, then she brings it to me, very serious. First day I put a tick like I do for my students. She cried. My son explained that she wants a star, like in his notebook. Now every page gets a big star and she goes back to write more. All these years of correcting papers and she is the strictest student I have had.

Ha, she knows exactly how the system works. My son at that age wanted a stamp on his hand like the one after vaccination. Every evening.

Keep a few of those starred pages aside and give them to her mother when they leave. My grandson's 'homework' from that age is still in my drawer.
