Moving from ICSE to CBSE for class 6. Has anyone's child joined Unicent School in Kompally mid-primary?

My partner's office is moving to the Kompally side early next year and we're thinking of renting closer rather than doing that drive every day. He's in class 5, ICSE, at a school here in Himayatnagar, so he would be joining somewhere for class 6. Unicent School is one we've noticed while looking at that area. If your child joined there in the middle years, please tell me: was there an entrance test, and how did a child coming from ICSE find the change, especially in Hindi and maths? He is a happy reader and quite shy at first, so settling in is as big a question for me as the syllabus ❤️
