May is our busiest month at work, and also her first full month of holidays

I run a small design practice and May is when two big client handovers always land. This year it lines up exactly with my daughter's summer break. She's nine and has already told me she doesn't want another art camp. I'm trying to plan it now instead of panicking in week two. Do you give each day a fixed shape at that age, or keep it loose and accept some boredom? And if you work from home in your peak weeks, how do you deal with the 'can you just look at this' every twenty minutes?
