Late pickups at Mega Town High School, Falaknuma, for a parent on hospital shifts

Posting for a nurse I work with. She lives in Falaknuma and her son starts LKG at Mega Town in June. Her shift ends at 2 but often runs over. What happens to the little ones if nobody is at the gate on time? Do they wait in the office, is a teacher on duty, is there a charge? She'd rather know now than find out on day one.

Put a second adult on the pickup list from the first day, even a neighbour. That's the most useful thing your colleague can do, so the school has someone to call when the shift runs over. I don't know Mega Town, but at my daughter's school children wait at reception with a staff member for a while before the calls start.

We're in Tolichowki, not that close, but I know a few families on the Falaknuma side who use vans for exactly this reason. The van drops at home and someone in the building receives the child. Is anyone at home in her family in the afternoons? If so, a van might solve this better than any school rule.
