I sell dental equipment for a living and can't tell if my toddler grinding his teeth at night is normal

Started about two weeks ago. Proper grinding, you can hear it from the doorway. He's not even two. Every dentist I meet at work, I forget to ask. Then I'm home at night listening to it 🤷 Anyone else's toddler do this? Did it stop on its own?

elder one did this around 2. stopped by 3 without us doing anything. sounded awful though, like gravel

Our daughter has exactly two teeth and has started grinding those. Didn't know that was possible. Good to hear above that it can pass on its own. Ask one of your dentist customers anyway, you'll make their day.
