How much written work do classes 1 and 2 get at Ravindra Bharathi in KPHB?

We live a few minutes from Ravindra Bharathi School in KPHB. My son is in class 1 at an ICSE school across town and the drive is starting to feel long for a six year old. Before I even think about a move, I'd like a sense of the written work in the early classes there. I work with young children who find writing hard, so this is the part I watch most. How many notebooks come home, and is it copying or the child's own work?

I don't know this branch, so I can't answer the main question. From the teacher side, the most useful thing on a visit is to ask to see a real class 2 notebook from this year, not the display ones. You can tell in a minute whether it's board copying or children's own work.

  Seconding the notebook idea. When we were choosing for our daughter, the notebooks told us more than any brochure, and most schools were happy to show them.
