He's learnt to wave bye and now waves at everything that leaves

My son is 14 months old and learnt to wave bye-bye this week. He now waves at autos driving off, the lift doors closing, the bathwater going down the drain, and the pressure cooker when I take it off the stove. He did not wave at me when I left for work this morning. Priorities.
