Grandparent days come with a full report from my 6 year old, whether they like it or not

My parents take the kids two afternoons a week so we can get through our calls. I've stopped needing to ask how it went. My daughter delivers the report at dinner, unprompted. Tonight's: "Thatha let me have two biscuits but he said don't tell Nanna, so I am not telling Nanna." She said this looking straight at me, then went back to her rice. My son, 12, has learnt to say nothing and simply enjoy the extra biscuits. Two very different strategies from the same house ❤️
