Ganpati modak orders are about to peak and my baby is three months old

We run a small sweets and snacks business in Balewadi and these next two weeks are the busiest of our year. Last year I was in the kitchen fourteen hours a day. This year I have a three month old who isn't starting daycare till next month. I'm thinking of bringing her to the unit for a few hours each day, in a carrier or a bassinet in the office corner, and handling orders and calls from there. Has anyone done this with a baby this small? What did you not think of until you were there? ❤️

A food production unit with a three month old in it. I'd worry more about the heat and the noise than about carrier versus bassinet. Is the office corner properly separate from the kitchen?

Arre, babies sleep through much more noise than we think 🙂 My mashi ran a sweet shop and her little ones grew up behind the counter, napping on sacks of sugar. But the heat point is fair. A kitchen in festival week is a furnace.

heat is the real thing. when my elder was a baby I took him to a client office two times, the AC was blasting and he was freezing, then outside it was boiling. layers, and a fan she can't reach. noise he slept through no problem
