Fruit break at school and the cut apple comes back brown and untouched

gentle_window_3161

Every day. I cut it at 6.30, it goes in the box, and by 10.30 it's brown and she won't touch it. 8 years old, ICSE school with a fruit-only short break. Bananas she refuses entirely. What fruit do your kids eat at school?

Lemon juice on the slices, or don't cut it at all. Send it whole and let her eat it like a normal person at 10. Mine refused brown apple for a whole year, it's not the taste, it's the look.

Whole apple: she says she can't bite into it because of her wobbly front tooth. 🤷

Will try the salt water dip on Monday, a friend says it works better than lemon. Fingers crossed.

Bought guavas today, so Tuesday is guava day. Pomegranate is too much peeling at 6 am, sorry. Maybe on weekends.
