Family wants our 2 month old's ears pierced next month. I'm the one hesitating
My mother has found a date and a goldsmith. I have found a lot of conflicting articles. The plan is to pierce our daughter's ears next month because 'it's easier when they're tiny and won't remember'. My partner is fine either way. Our daughter has just had her vaccines, and I don't love the idea of another needle for something that isn't needed yet. On the other hand, every woman in my family had it done as a baby and nobody remembers it, which is my mother's main argument. Did you do it early, or wait till your child was old enough to choose? If early, how did the healing go with a baby who grabs at everything near her face?
