Easier commute, harder farewell to friends

The practical reason for changing the weekday routine is obvious to us adults. My daughter is still sad about seeing old friends less often. I keep listing the advantages of the new arrangement, which she already knows. Maybe I need to stop selling it and help keep one friendship alive.
