does vignan model high school take new kids at ukg, or is it mostly their own nursery kids moving up?

we're in vanasthalipuram and i pass vignan model on the way to work most days. my son's 4, so next june is ukg. what i can't work out is whether schools like this take many new children at ukg, or whether the class is mostly their own nursery and lkg kids moving up with a few seats left over. if it's the second, i'd rather know now than turn up in march. anyone whose child joined there at ukg, or tried to?

Not from your side and ours is only 2, so no real answer for Vignan. But when we went around looking at playschools last year, two places told us the entry class was where the seats were and anything later was 'subject to vacancy'. Might be worth asking the office straight out how many joined UKG fresh this year 🤷
