'How the classes are' will get you twenty different answers. What matters most to you? Homework volume, class size, how they handle a new joiner in the middle years? Ask that and you'll get something usable. I have a toddler, so no help on class 8, but I learnt this asking about daycares.

My customer's daughter studied there till 10th, she finished some years back. She was happy only, the mother also. But that time and now may be different, better you go to the office and ask about 8th class seats directly. They will tell you.

When you go, it may be worth asking how many children joined in class 8 last year, and whether new joiners are put in one section or spread across all of them. That tells you more about settling in than a general answer would. I've heard of both approaches from friends, and their children's experience was quite different.
