daycare's shut for the bonalu holiday and we both have calls we can't move

just got the message. both girls home for the day, partner has a quarterly review, i've got calls from 8 am that run into the US evening. our usual family backup will be busy with the festival itself. what do people on our side of town do for local holidays like this? any drop-in place that takes a 2 and a 4 yr old for a day, or is it just leave and lost sleep
