daycare nap was 2.5 hours. he was chatting to the ceiling fan at 11pm

daycare told us proudly that he slept beautifully. he certainly did. at 11 he was standing in the cot narrating something to the fan, very serious, lots of pointing. partner had an early start so i took the shift. we're both wrecked and he woke up at 7 like someone who'd had a full night's rest

The ceiling fan talks! Mine is 10 now, but at that age he held long conversations with the AC remote every night for about a month. Sympathies. It does pass.

haha the fan always gets the best stories. Did the daycare give you any say in how long he naps? Ours agreed to wake him after an hour once we asked, though that was years ago
