Daycare is offering an evening slot till 7. Tempting on theatre days, but she's only 4

Our daughter's daycare has started an optional 'evening enrichment' slot from 5 to 7, for an extra monthly fee. On my theatre days I rarely get out before 6.30, and my partner's evenings depend on release schedules, so right now our family backup does those pickups and is clearly getting tired of it. The slot would solve that. It would also mean that on two or three days a week she is out of the house from 8 to 7, which is eleven hours for a 4 year old. For those who use a late slot like this, does it work out, or does the child pay for it at bedtime?
