Coming from CBSE, how different would class 7 be at Vidya Dayini High School in Champapet?

Our son has just started class 6 at a CBSE school some distance from home. We've begun looking at options closer by for next year, and Vidya Dayini in Champapet came up when I asked around the colony. I don't know State Board well at all. For a child joining in class 7, how different are maths and science in pace and in the way exams are set? And is the Telugu at a level a CBSE child can catch up with in a year? He has had Telugu at school, so he isn't starting from zero. I'd like to hear from anyone with children there, or anyone who has switched from CBSE to State Board in the middle classes.

no experience with that school. my brother moved his son from cbse to state board in class 6, the maths was fine, the telugu took most of the first year and a tutor. worth asking the school what level the class 7 telugu paper is at

On the Telugu paper, yes. I would also ask to see a class 7 question paper from last year when you visit. Hearing 'it's similar' from the office is less useful than seeing the actual paper.
