Class 10 son wants to join a dance crew that practises on Sunday mornings

15, just started class 10. He's been doing dance videos in his room for months, we thought it was a phase. Now a friend's crew has asked him to their Sunday practice, 7 to 10 at a studio in Secunderabad. My partner says not this year. My view is that three hours a week away from a desk is probably good for him in a board year. I danced a bit myself back in the day, so maybe I'm biased. Did anyone's teen keep a big hobby going through class 10, and did it cost them?
