Choosing daycare for our baby. Separate infant room, or one room for all ages?

ochre_sketch_5226

I'm back at work in May and we've visited three daycares near Somajiguda this week. Two have a small separate room for babies under 18 months. The third has one big room where babies and three year olds are together, with a cot corner. The third felt the warmest by far. The carers knew every child's name and the older kids were sweet with the babies. But I keep picturing a toddler stepping on him. If your baby was in a mixed-age room, how did it go? ❤

Our younger one was in a mixed room from about 10 months. The big kids treated her like a doll, which was mostly sweet and occasionally a lot. The thing to ask is how many carers are with the babies at nap time and lunch, because that's when the babies get the least attention.

nap time is the real question. our daughter's daycare had two adults on paper and one in practice every afternoon. we only found out by turning up early one day

      Replying to @linen_bottle_7691

Turning up early is the only check that works. Did they mind?
