40 kids in her class so there's a birthday chocolate in her bag about twice a week. she finishes it in the van before i see her. not sure i mind the chocolate. i mind that it's at 3.30 and then dinner is a fight
For teeth, one chocolate at 3.30 is less of a worry than sipping juice all evening, so I wouldn't panic about that part. The dinner fight is the real cost. Could the deal be that birthday chocolate comes home and becomes dessert after dinner?
That's what we tried. My son simply ate it on the bus anyway. In the end we moved dinner earlier.
