Can we ask daycare for one daily summary instead of photo-by-photo updates?

The daycare app sends a photo each time our 9 month old eats, naps or picks up a toy. My partner likes seeing every one. I end up checking it mid-meeting and reading too much into a single blurry face. What I'd want is one message around 5: meals, naps, nappies, anything unusual. My partner can keep the photo feed. Has anyone's centre agreed to send different things to different parents, or is that asking too much of the staff? And which updates turned out to be useful for you?
