Can parents visit S.S.D Grammar High School without bringing the child first?

We're looking at schools in Kukatpally for our son's Class 1 next year. He's 5. We visited two schools in September and took him to both, and now he asks every morning whether today is the day he goes to 'the new school'. His younger sister has started asking too. It's a short drive from us and next on our list. Does anyone know whether the school allows a parents-only visit or meeting first? I'd like to do the research without him and bring him along only once we've decided.

We did exactly this for our daughter. Parents only for the first round at three schools, then we took her once to the one we'd chosen, as 'the school you'll go to'. Most offices were fine with it when I phoned and asked for a parents' visit. I can't tell you what this school's policy is, but it's worth calling rather than turning up.

how did you explain the final visit to her without it sounding like a test

different parent but, I told mine we were going to see a school's playground. she rated the slides 7 out of 10. that was the whole visit haha

Calling ahead is the right move. Last year, for our younger one, we kept her out of the visits completely and only told her once the admission was confirmed. She was 4, and not knowing was so much easier on her than all the visits had been on her sister years earlier ❤
