Are the hair and uniform rules strict at St. Christophers Convent for the middle classes?

St. Christophers Convent in Banjara Hills is on my route to work most days, and we've started looking at it for our daughter's class 5. She's at a CBSE school near us in LB Nagar now. Silly as it sounds, the thing she's asked me to find out first is about hair. She has very long, very thick hair, and convent schools have a reputation for being particular about it. Mornings are already a battle. Anyone whose child studies there, or who has asked them about it?

'Particular' could mean anything. Two plaits? Ribbons in a set colour? Hair tied above the collar? Worth knowing which one bothers her, otherwise every answer you get will just be 'they're a bit strict'.

Fair. Two plaits every day would be the problem. She's fine with one, and a ponytail would be heaven. My partner does her hair and it already takes fifteen minutes 😂

      Replying to @banyan_pool_6146

Might help to ask at the visit whether you can see the uniform and grooming page in their diary, rather than going by reputation. That will tell you the ordinary daily rule, which is what really decides your mornings.
