Anyone's child moved from a playschool into LKG at SPS High School, Kompally?

Our younger son is at a small playschool near home in Kompally and will need a school for LKG next year. SPS High School is one of the places we're looking at, mainly because it goes all the way to class 10 and we'd like him to stay put for a while. His playschool is very gentle. Four hours, lots of play, no writing at all. If your child joined SPS for LKG from somewhere like that, how was the jump? Does writing start straight away? Did your child settle in a few weeks, or did it drag on?
