2on the drive to her 7 am tuition used to be when we talked
That matches what I see with my two, though they are much younger. They talk in the car because nobody has to look at anyone. Perhaps at this age the conversations move to a different slot rather than disappearing.
1on She wakes from every afternoon nap crying, and it takes twenty minutes to settle her
This happened with our younger one too, around the same stage. We stopped trying to fix it: we sat near her with the curtains still drawn, said very little, and waited for her to come to us. It still took ten minutes, but calmer ones. I can't say whether it was the dark room or the waiting.
2on Every relative asks which school we've 'booked' for our daughter. She isn't walking yet
From our experience with two daughters: the nursery admissions we dealt with opened in the autumn of the year before entry, so roughly when the child was two and a half. I have heard of earlier registrations at a few very popular schools, but have not seen it myself. Waitlist talk at family functions tends to run ahead of the facts.
