My children are still studying, so I haven't seen this from the parent side. But when I take on help for my daycare I have thought about asking for a commitment, and decided against it. If the work and the people are good, they stay. I'd let her sign and judge the company by how the first year goes.

Both my children are in college now and neither wants anything to do with my daycare, though they grew up in the middle of it. I was sad for one day. Now I'm proud they chose for themselves. She'll come to the business on her own if she wants to.
