Walks all over the house. At daycare he crawls, and they think he can't walk yet

He's been walking at home for about three weeks. Sofa to door, door to balcony, lots of falling over and getting up. The daycare's daily note still says 'working on standing'. Today I mentioned it and the teacher gave me the look reserved for parents who think their child is a genius. I'm told this is common and they save new tricks for home. Did yours eventually walk in front of the daycare staff, or do I need to bring video evidence?
