Toddler slaps when she's frustrated, then laughs when we react
Started a couple of weeks ago. If the shape won't go into the sorter or I take the phone away, she slaps whoever is nearest. Usually me. Then she watches my face and laughs. We've tried a calm 'no, we don't hit' and moving her hand away. My partner has tried ignoring it. Both seem to turn it into a game. Daycare hasn't mentioned anything, so maybe it only happens at home where she has an audience. I know most toddlers go through this. I'd still like to know what you did that made it pass faster rather than slower.
