The new commute is better. The friendship problem is not.

Our route from Nagole is much easier since we changed the weekday arrangement. My son still misses meeting the old group in person. He knows why we changed it, but that does not make the new evenings any less empty. We have not decided whether to plan weekend meetups or let the friendships find their own rhythm.
