I am writing in this section because maybe some parent of a small child is where we were. My son started repeating the first sound of words when he was around three. Relatives said don't talk about it, don't make him conscious, he will grow out of it. So we did nothing. Now he is in primary school. It is still there, and his teacher told us he has stopped answering questions in class. At home also he talks less than before. I am not saying waiting is always wrong.
