A stall selling Ganesh idols went up at the end of our lane last week. Now our evening walk has a fixed route. He stops at the stall, says "night night" to each idol he can reach, and refuses to leave until he's done. The stall owner has started waiting for him.
wait until they take them all away. my son at 3 cried at the lake asking where ganesha was going. have some story ready before immersion day 🙂
How many idols? My son had a favourite one at a stall like that at about the same age. Someone bought it and he was very upset.
About forty. He has a favourite. The big one with the mouse.
Update: someone bought the mouse one last night. He looked at the empty spot, moved on to a blue one, said night night. No grief at all.
