Off the bottle at home for a month. Daycare still gives one before nap

At home our 2 year old has been going down for his nap with a story and a sip of water for about a month, no bottle, no fuss. At daycare they still give the younger group a bottle of milk before nap. Easier with a dozen of them, I understand. The result is he now asks for the bottle at bedtime on daycare days, and not on weekends. I don't want him caught between two sets of rules, and I don't want to march in and tell them how to run nap time either. Has anyone asked their centre to match a home change like this? How did you put it?
