Birla Open Minds Pre School in Kukatpally is among places we may contact. My younger son takes a little time to warm up when visiting an unfamiliar place, and I would like to understand how a family can discuss a settling-in plan. I have not visited this centre and cannot comment on its approach. What would you ask before taking a child for a tour?

Ask what the normal first few days involve, not whether the child will definitely be comfortable.
