Our family is considering schools in more than one part of Hyderabad. Army Public School, Golconda is one name that came up, but we still need to establish whether our child would meet the applicable entry requirements. I would rather check the school contact and ordinary journey before asking people for comparisons. Has anybody found a simple way to keep verified information apart from neighbourhood recommendations?
Start with commute and the child’s needs, then make a comparable list of questions.
Travel is the easiest unknown for us to test.
And one calm ordinary weekday on that route will tell you more about travel than the quickest map estimate.
The useful part of a comparison is knowing who actually confirmed each detail and when.
I had been putting everything on a single comparison sheet without noting whether the answer came from a school or a neighbour.
Our first enquiry usually focuses on the child’s comfort, not brochures.
Comfort does matter, but I want to find out the entry conditions before planning a visit the child might remember as a promise.
